13th Annual MPM Workshop​

September 28-30, 2022

This workshop will provide an opportunity for members of the international MPM community to present and discuss recent and ongoing research to advance the theoretical and algorithmic aspects of the MPM, and to showcase applications of the method.

AGENDA
29 - 30 September, 2022 - MPM Workshop​
The workshop will comprise two days of technical talks, and an open discussion session to address ongoing challenges and opportunities for the MPM community.  A workshop dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday, September 29, to encourage networking and collaboration between attendees.

28 September, 2022 - Software Training Course
The training course will include different sessions in which different software will be discussed. In some cases, the attendees will have the opportunity to have their first hands-on experience.

ORGANIZERS
The workshop is organized by University of Texas at Austin, who invested in the application of the MPM for multi-scale modeling of natural hazards, landslides, earthquakes, and debris flows
